In accordance with and in effect of Italian Law n. 196 of 30 June 2003 ('Privacy Protection Code'), as the Data Controller of your personal data, the Company hereby informs you that the cited law foresees the protection of personal information regarding persons and other subjects, and that the handling of such information will be characterized by the principles of honesty, full legitimacy, transparency and protection of their privacy and rights. Any personal information will be handled according to the legislative regulations of the above-cited law and to the obligations regarding privacy foreseen therein.
Purposes for data treatment
In particular, your personal information will be handled for purposes linked to the carrying out of compliances related to legal or contractual obligations (for example, subscribing to the German Tattoo Artists Yearbook) and to compliances which are obligatory by law in the fiscal and accounting fields. Handling functional data in order to carry out these obligations is necessary for the correct management of the relationship, and their conferment is obligatory in order to carry out the aims cited above. Furthermore, the Data Controller hereby declares that if any obligatory information is not communicated or is communicated incorrectly, this could make it impossible for the Data Controller to guarantee the adequate handling of said data.
Any email addresses which are voluntarily provided, through the specific contact request form and/or through the specific "Contacts" section of the Site and/or subscription to the publishing product "German Tattoo Artists Yearbook" by way of a signed contract, can be used to send informational communications such as newsletters, DEM, promotions, etc…., which solely regard the Company's activities.

c) a declaration that the operations described in letters a) and b) were made known, including everything regarding their content and the individuals to which the data was communicated or spread, apart from cases in which that operation is impossible, or involves the use of means which are clearly disproportionate with regard to the protected right.
4. The interested party has the right to object, whether entirely or in part:
a) to the handling of his/her personal data for reasons which are legitimate, even if it is pertinent to the reason for gathering it;
b) to the handling of his/her personal data for motives involving the spread of advertising material of direct sales or for carrying out market research or commercial communications.
The Data Controller and Data Processor, as well as the Company's email address which you can use to contact them, are indicated at the beginning of this text.
Location of data treatment
Any handling of data connected to the navigation of this Site is located at the Company headquarters and will be communicated solely to those individuals who are responsible for carrying out the services needed for the correct management of work relations, with the protection of the individual's rights guaranteed. Data will only be handled by personnel who have been specifically authorized by the Data Controller.
Any data obtained from the web service will not be communicated or spread.
The personal information provided by users who submit requests for instructional material to be sent and/or other requests, such as requests for information, will be used solely for the purpose of carrying out any requested services or assistance.
Types of data handled: navigation data
During the course of normal functioning, the IT systems and software procedures which have been designated for the operation of this website acquire some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This kind of information is not gathered in order to be associated with identified individuals. Included in this category of data are the IP addresses of the computers utilized by users who connect to the site (made anonymous – see the section related to "Google Analytics" below), the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the number code which indicates the state of the answer given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the operating system and to the user's IT environment. This data is used with the sole aim of gathering anonymous statistical information about the use of the site and to check that it is being used correctly. Data could be used in order to ascertain responsibility in hypothetical cases of any IT crime which damages the site, but only if requested by appropriate surveillance authorities.
Option to provide personal information
Except for what is specified regarding navigation data, if the user wants to request that informational material or other communications be sent to him/her, he/she is not obligated to provide the Company with any personal information requested on the Site's request forms, or which is in any case indicated in the contacts section.
